Kodály Educators of Texas (KET) is an affiliate Chapter of The Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE)
MISSION STATEMENT The objectives of the Kodály Educators of Texas are as follows: To further music education through the use of the concepts set forth by Zoltan Kodály, To provide a forum for exchange of ideas on the impact of the Kodály concept on American education and to perpetuate the spirit of co-operation among all Kodály educators, and
To apply the Kodály concept to the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural heritage of
Texas, being mindful of Kodály's vision that "music belongs to everyone."
